* The graphic shown above, has for some reason been incorporated into several of DOD's Deployment Health RELATED Gulf War Presentation files. This action, or lack of therefore, can only lead one to believe that perhaps this "debasing" of Gulf War Veterans Illnesses is Un-Officially just what certain "factions" within DoD, really thinks of it's Veterans behind the scenes; regarding the plight, of the tens of thousands of sick, and disabled Gulf War Veterans who's return from Desert Storm has left them a mere shell of their former selves. These Veteran's I might add, did nothing more than serve their country without hesitation; and this is what they and their family members must cope with, regarding this great American tragedy? I can only hope not...

For make no mistake, the experience on the battlefield was indeed a catastrophe of massive and immense Chemical & Biological exposures that the Chairmen of our Joint Chief of Staff, who along with General Schwarzkopf and company, had been previously warned about, and yet took little, if any precautions to adequately protect their Soldiers from the many gassings and exposures, that was partially due, as a result from our allied forces bombing of Saddam's Chemical & Biological storage bunkers. This huge miscalculation has compromised not only our Soldiers health, but in some cases their entire families. Adding to these exposures, along with the Chemical and Biological (Anthrax) confirmations that DID take place on the Battlefield, and the final result is that thousands of our Yellow Ribbon "Victory Parade" soldiers are now sick, dead, or permanently disabled.

Also, we surely can't forget the experimental shots and Nerve Agent Pre-treatment pills that were also administered to the troops, that contributed even more insults to their health. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out. These "experimental" instruments would also result in many other Soldiers becoming ill, and who would later suffer severe and chronic health problems from the above stated incidents, that also took place.

Finally, adding to the total aggravation of these problems, was the lack of clear guidance from the Chain of Command, regarding the environmental exposures, that occurred during both Operation's Desert Storm and Desert Shield. For Saddam's forces did indeed fire off at our Troops, both Chemical & Biological Rounds using Scuds, Frogs, Artillery shells and other WMD munitions that were recovered, confirmed and destroyed by UNSCOM after the war..

The aftermath of medical care and compensation also roughly amounts to a staggering cost of about 2 billion dollars or more annually that must come out of the national coffers. This amount is required just to take care of, and treat, the tens of thousands of Veterans from this war.

So for anyone or any group to belittle us and our exposure illnesses from behind our backs, led's one to conclude that this action of lack of, is totally unfair and The Department of Justice, should begin investigations for those who continue to defile us. I repeat, We did not ask for this to happen...We are truly victims of Patriotism...I think as American's, we can do a better job of treating our Veterans!
